Trajan, the "Optimus Princeps" — the best ruler — is still regarded as one of Rome's most capable emperors. Under his reign, the Roman Empire reached its greatest territorial extent, and his name became the benchmark the Senate used when wishing future emperors well.

The front of this shirt features a stylized laurel wreath — a symbol of victory, honor, and recognition since antiquity. On the back, the phrase "SPQR approved" — a nod to Senatus Populusque Romanus, "the Senate and People of Rome," the classic self-designation of the Roman state.
